Reviewers Note: It is the middle of 2025 and I am not doing a good job of keeping up with this desired goal of mine to write book reviews. I do not want to lower my expectations but I am going to so that I can catch up. This will mean short reviews on the books I read.

Skyward by Brandon Sanderson

I am a big fan of Brandon Sanderson. When I started this book though, I was not sure where it was headed. I told someone a little ways in that I wasn’t sure what “magic” was in this book. And the magic was not really revealed until the very end of the book. Which made me start the next book immediately!
He tells great stories and develops characters that struggle with the same things we all struggle with. This series is more accessible than The Stormlight Archive due to the sheer size (every book in Stormlight is over 1,000 pages).
This is a story about humans struggling for survival and trying to find their place in the universe. I definitely recommend this book.
