I have heard that too many times. When people use that as a descriptor for me, it means something very negative. Honestly it means death to me. The little death that brings total obliteration.
On the other hand, when it is used to describe someone else it is a complement.
Since I’ve been on a renewed TED Talk kick, I ran across this one. I enjoyed the part about being “normal” because that is actually a negative term in our house. You do not want to be one of “them”. This is probably bad. My children will now be ruined because of this. I’ll be OK as long as they are not normal.
This TED talk is only 6 minutes. Worth the time.
