How many types of goodbyes are there? There is a permanent type of goodbye and a less permanent type. There are goodbyes to loved ones and not so loved ones. I know some cause pain and others are a relief.

You know, I tried to think of some other goodbye’s, but with those simple words, you covered ALL of them, doggone it.
Good bye to a teacher you love, good bye to a friend that has possessed you for years, good bye to your favorite pet. No matter how I look at it, those all fall under your categories.
