I have been reading articles from the Institute for Faith, Work, & Economics. One of the ideas that has been strengthened in my mind because of this site is that business is an avenue to spread the gospel.
The goal is to make disciples of all nations using business as an avenue to serve and engage the community.
I wrote that one day a few weeks back but even prior to that I have had a strong desire to open up another business. I have quite a few ideas but I am trying to be patient and wait on God to open up the doors for what He wants me to do. This isn’t as easy for me as I would have hoped. The desire is strong and my relentless nature needs to be held in check.
Yes, Monopoly was my favorite game as a child and life just seems like a giant Monopoly game to me.
I like Monopoly too! And discussing business opportunities is fun!
Especially if I get to talk about spending other people’s money!

so hearing you say that it’s hard for you to wait and be patient is weird for me.
I agree, though; if you jump in too quickly you may be wasting precious
time and money, perhaps on something that won’t take you where you want
to go; when, if you are patient, God will lead you. (But you know
that : )
