New Testament Almost Complete

Last week during family worship we completed 2 Corinthians.  This means we have read the entire New Testament (minus Revelation) as a family.  This is rather exciting to me.  We have also read quite a bit of the Old Testament.  We tried to determine what we have read in the OT but it wasn’t easy to remember.  I probably should have written that down somewhere in my notes.

We have read other things during family worship and since I didn’t have anything planned the next night, we picked up on a devotional we had begun a few months back on the book of Colossians.  I have really enjoyed it (The Hope of Glory).

Originally I had skipped 1 and 2 Corinthians and Revelation.  Revelation because I just did not want to read it with them yet and the Corinthian letters because I didn’t want to discuss the guy sleeping with his father’s wife.  After reading several books of the Old Testament, I realized that the Corinthian letters were tame and so we found a stopping point in the OT and picked up those two letters.

Now we will go ahead and begin the book of Revelation tonight.  So do I get to raise my children as amillennialist?
