I started Freedom of the Will by Jonathan Edwards a long time ago. Since I recently started a different book by Edwards, I decided to start Freedom of the Will back from the beginning. I remember why I struggled with the book. It requires a significant amount of concentration. I think I read most paragraphs at least twice, sometimes more, to understand them.

It was recommended that I keep a notepad and pen handy while I read these books. I typically highlight and keep notes on the Kindle but I had a notepad handy just in case. It is blank except for a question: what is worship? This is obviously related to another thought process in my mind but the paper was there so I had to write it.
