In Any Respect

I have been reading about Jonathan Edwards lately.  I have read his 70 resolutions many times.  I had thought to read them every day but knew that was unrealistic.  I had thought and even attempted to read the resolutions once a week.  This too turned out to be unattainable because of laziness and lack of discipline.  So recently I thought maybe I could focus on one.  I read the first 45 and made note of a few and then narrowed it down to three.  I put those three in my daily ToDoist and looked at them.  Three still seemed like a lofty goal so I narrowed it down to one as I had originally intended.

41. Resolved, to ask myself at the end of every day, week, month and year, wherein I could possibly in any respect have done better.

I selected this one because I sometimes do this now so I thought it would be an easy behavior modification to do it more often and eventually daily.  Maybe in the future I could add another resolution to the daily mix.
