Matthew 7:14 – But the gate is narrow and the way is difficult that leads to life, and there are few who find it.
If my life is easy, what does that say about me? If your life is easy, what does that say about you? Do you think Jesus really meant that the way would be difficult or do His words mean the complete opposite – the way is easy that leads to life? I’m sure Jesus was using some sort of word play – especially when I do not want not agree with what the Bible actually says. Fitting the Bible into my believe system is much easier. I don’t want anything too difficult you see. The way that leads to life should be easy. The way that leads through life should also be easy. Today I shall waste the gift God has given me. Won’t you join me?
Matthew 7:19 – Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
