You are going through this situation so you know how to pray for people better. It seems like there should be a better way to understand how to pray for people. Or maybe I just prefer to pray for them without personal experience. Personal experience is much more difficult and more importantly real. Death, divorce, disease, drugs. The list of situations never really ends. So I am supposed to ask how will I glorify God through all of life? That seems like a bit much. Can’t I just do it with just the part of my life that I want to give Him? Psalm 103:1 – “Praise the LORD, O my soul! With all that is within me, praise his holy name!”
